From March 4 to March 22, 2019, the Dexin Psychical Weather Station of the School of Teacher Education of Nanjing Normal University successfully held "the Most Beautiful Expectation" group activities for all classes of grade 17. This activity was organized by the Dexin Psychical Weather Station of the School of Teacher Education of Nanjing Normal University. All students and classes of grade 17 participated in this activity.

The location of the activity was decided by the psychological committees of each class of grade 17. After all the class members had arrived, the activity began. Psychological committees of briefly introduced the theme of the activity -- "Meeting A New You" and the process and purpose of the activity. The activities were rich in content and diverse in form. Different link design showed different styles and class characteristics. There were many creative activities. In the "forbidden language game" of Chinese Language and Literature Normal Class, participants were required to make their own judgment in the game due to their ignorance of the prohibited actions and words set by the opposing team members. In the"balloon relay" of Physics Normal class, the students delivered balloon in the music. When music stopped, student who got the balloon should sing the corresponding song according to the requirements of the host. The Chemistry Normal Class played the film of the king's speech. History Normal Class's "blindfold painting" was a game that the psychological committees used the language to describe something, ant let the students blindfold draw what they hear. Then they compared the pictures  had been drown and thought that why everyone heard the same description, but drew something different. Politics Normal Class chose the game "stroll three gardens". If the participants encountered a multiple of three, he should shout "pass". Otherwise, he should shout the original number. Anyone who made a mistake would give a performance. Through this activity, the interaction and communication among students in the class were strengthened, and the class cohesion and unity consciousness were also improved. Each class had a sharing session in the activity, which was closely focused on the theme of "the Most Beautiful Expectations", and encouraged students to share their expectations for the new semester as well as the plans and goals they had made. To some extent, it helped students to set up personal and short-term goals and strive for them. 

 

In the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, the students gained courage and warmth, and were looking forward to meeting a new self. The activity not only promoted the acquaintance between students, improved the ability of teamwork, but also let students have a deep understanding of themselves and others. Hopefully, this activity can be an unforgettable experience for the students of grade 17 in their sophomore year and all the students can gain something from this activity, think more about their future goals and make their college life more fulfilling and meaningful.
