On the afternoon of November 25^th, ,the junior students majored in Geography teaching from the School of Teacher Education held their class meeting and class committee report in classroom 606, Xuexing Building, Xianlin Campus. The event was organized by Liao Qiuping,their monitor, publicized by Zhao Xueyan, student in charge of propaganda work, instructed by Teacher Guo Chao, counsellor of the junior students and attended by all the junior students majored in Geography Teaching.

At 4 p.m., the event began officially. First of all, monitor Liao Qiuping led all the students to review their wonderful internship in Lushan and human geography. Then the class committee began to report their work with nine students in charge of class management in the first term from 2018 to 2019 going onto the stage and telling each of their responsibilities and what they had done specifically each month and their feelings and achievements. The students showed great approval and support to their work.

 

Then came the class meeting host by Teacher Guo Chao. During the meeting, Mr. Guo discussed the issues about study and living. About study, he emphasized on activeness and independence, especially encouraging students to prepare for the coming final exams with goals and direction born in mind. About living, he cared much about students’ psychological changes, and he showed his willingness to communicate with the students deeper. He also said that he held great expectations in the development of the class and he wished that the students would have better development and more harvests.

This event not only enabled the students to know and familiarize with the class work the class committee had been doing, but also gave them a chance to study and solve the problems existing in the class management, strengthened the cohesion of the class and mobilized the final exams. With the support of all the members, the event ended in great success.
