On the morning of April 3, the opening ceremony of the 10th Jinling Education academic Forum was successfully held in Xueming Building 501, Xianlin Campus, Nanjing normal University. The event was hosted by the basic Education Research Center of Nanjing normal University and hosted by the Graduate students Association of the Institute of Teacher Education. Professor Li Weijun, Department of Education, (Taitung University, Taiwan, China,）was specially invited to give lectures. At the same time, Yu Dongchuan, a professor from Southeast University, Wang Xiong, a special teacher in Jiangsu Province, Xue Feng, vice minister of graduate student work of the Party Committee of Nanjing normal University, Liu Xingsheng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Teachers College, and the director of the basic Education Center of Nannormal University, were also invited. The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Xin, secretary of the League Committee of the Teacher of Education. The theme of "the cultivation of Children's Core Literacy" was reported and discussed. It is worth mentioning that this activity makes full use of the wisdom classroom of Xianlin Campus, carries out the whole live interaction, and has a full sense of science and technology, which ignited the enthusiasm of the audience at the beginning.

The opening ceremony consists of three parts. At the beginning of the event, Wang Xin introduced the guests, and Deputy Secretary Liu Gengsheng introduced a series of activities to all the students. As a series of brand activities of the Graduate Association of the Institute of Teacher Education, the series of activities have been carried out for ten years in a row, aiming at providing a platform for ideological exchange and academic discussion for students of various disciplines. Deepen students' understanding of subject-related issues, improve students' professional literacy, cultivate research-oriented talents. Then the student representative Ling Ming, who majors in subject teaching (English). By introducing her own scientific research process, Ling Ming emphasized on her research. Students should sink their minds, be knowledgeable and interrogative, be careful to think carefully, and pay attention to improving their subject literacy while not forgetting the feelings of the country at all times, and inviting everyone to jointly discover the beauty of scientific research.

Finally, Vice Minister Xue Feng delivered an opening speech. Based on his own work experience, Minister Xue pointed out the importance of cultivating research ability and encouraged students to make efforts to carry out scientific research innovation and develop in the direction of research teachers.

The second part of the opening ceremony is a lecture by Mr. Li Weijun on the theme of “Meta Education and Children's Core Literacy Development”. Professor Li first introduced the basic situation of Taitung University and his achievements in academics and practice. He then explained the connotation and origin of the aesthetic education he advocated, and then interacted with the audience, including Balance game and magnetic writhing device to understand electromagnetics, experience the number of poker games, experience the beauty of mathematics with magical calculator games. Various interactions not only won the applause, but also let everyone deeply understand the beauty tower emphasized by Professor Li  and the connotation of "simultaneity and opposition" in the theory of learning. In the end, Professor Li put forward his own opinions on core literacy. He believed that attitude, ability and knowledge constitute “core literacy ASK”. In addition, there are two important literacy, which are speculation and gratitude.

The third part of the opening ceremony is the salon discussion activities, the experts participated in the discussion and expressed their own thinking on the theme of core literacy. Professor Yu Dongchuan believes that the core of literacy is decision-making power. Professor Li Weijun proposes to promote the study of teachers' core literacy. Mr. Cao Zhijiang pointed out that the core literacy should be time and space and stressed the importance of speculation. Professor Zhu Xuemei raised a series of questions to the students present, which aroused everyone's thinking, and pointed out that learning ability, judgment, design power and execution are the core qualities in her heart. The profound views of the teachers have benefited the students a lot.
