She loves reading and writing, and poetically inhabits in the excellent writings of ancient and modern China and foreign countries;

She is persistent and eager to learn, so as to publish her own articles in the China Education Journal;

She is diligent in thinking and unwavering. We can see the persistence and fearlessness of the students in the college from her.

She is Ling Ming, a student of the subject teaching (English) major of the Teacher Education College of Nanjing Normal University.

Ling Ming is a girl who likes to read and write.She will write a small article when she is free to express her feelings. The life of graduate students is not easy. When she fees sad and upset, she often use words to comfort herself. It is fascinating to think about it for her. She can still have fun in the hardships. It’s similar to the situation of the poet of  Lu Yanrang who think over for a long time, and even cut off his several beards.

 

This article published is about one of the improvements in basic education in South Africa. She is inspired by the concept of daily research and publication of newspapers and articles as well as the layout of the article. Mandela has always been a great man in Ling Ming's heart. This year is his 100th birthday. Ling Ming originally wanted to write about his complex and story with education. Unfortunately, “the wall is steep,”and Mandela has already been documented and written about. As a result, Ling Ming has to give up. It happens that after a few days of watching the news,she gets to know that the South Africa “Vision Partners” project won the 2018 World Education Innovation Summit, and this became the connection of her essay.

 

Through the powerful World Wide Web, Ling Ming learns that China has not yet had a specific introduction to South Africa’s “vision partners”. If Ling Ming write this topic, it means that she is responsible for the “first person”. Once the essay is not rigorously written , it would provide the latecomer with information on the incomplete fallacy, which makes Lingming’s pressure double. However, Ling Ming has always been a person who is willing to accept the challenge. With a thought to have a try, she takes this writing as a post-thinking practice. Although Ling Ming’s tutor Li Shuguang’s research field and interest are not in the press, he still encourages Ling Ming’s to think hard and to write more. She is also fortunate to have this mentor.

The preparation process is hard. Just as Mr. Yuan mei once said: "The hobby is difficult to write down , and a poem is changed from the beginning to the heart. " Although she has the idea in advance, the process is still difficult. Ling Ming begins to search a large amount of information. However, the domestic data is almost zero, everything must start with the original documents. For an English major, reading English literature is a common practice. However,It can still be difficult to face the rigorous words and proper nouns of official documents.  Her boyfriend discusses with her and gives her many valuable suggestions. In addition, her support and encouragement from her classmates also makes her more confident.

 

When Ling Ming completes the preparations in the early stage, she realizes that real writing has just begun. With his own efforts and the help of everyone, Ling Ming has also changed from an academic green hand to a prepared person with thoughts.

The Teacher Education College is a warm and full of academic atmosphere. The school spirit of “Zhengde Housheng and Yan Xuemin”and the teaching style of “rigorous, simple, hardworking and dedication” are vividly reflected here. The rumors of "learning as an educator" in the teacher's college have been deeply engraved in Lingming's heart since the day of enrollment. The excellent academic style of the teacher's college has enabled Ling Ming to enhance the ability of independent learning and academic research in the context of a strong learning atmosphere.

At the beginning of the year, Ling Ming becomes the assistant in Suiyuan campus, and the director is very kind. The college's newspapers and magazines are carried to the office by the help of the hand, and it is very convenient to read through. The director often talks to the classmates, look at the newspapers and see the ups and downs. Indeed, in our time, there are countless resources. As long as you are willing to delve into it and try more, you will get it. Once again, the encouragement of the companions makes Ling Ming pick up her confidence, carry her bags and continue on the road.

Ling Ming’s article published in the Education Journal of China is titled as“Business and Education Linking the Development of Education in South Africa”. It is based on the idea that South Africa has leveraged the rich resources of local business leaders lacking leadership through “saving innovation”. The school principals work together to improve the status quo of basic education in South Africa. The imbalance of education in the eastern and western regions of China has a long history. Can we properly learn from the reforms in South Africa, give play to the social responsibilities of the community, and ease the imbalance of educational resources? Ling Ming hopes that this article will invoke Chinese educators to think.

The academic road is hard, and you have to explore the road that you have explored. Ling Ming says that she will continue to go on. Looking back on this road stumbling, Ling Ming wants to give some personal suggestions to the friends who tries to write articles : "First of all, have a sight of long-term, and hear more about the state affairs on weekdays. Secondly, don't let inspiration disappear from your fingers, calm down and write your own words. If you don't work, you won't be rewarded. Thirdly, you should be good at getting information that is beneficial to you.  No one will send resources to you, and you must find ways to get these resources.
