On June 21, 2018, the National Undergraduate Education Work Conference was held in Chengdu.

Chen Baosheng（Minister of education)made a speech about"Standing on the basis of basic, promoting four returns and building a first-class undergraduate education with Chinese characteristics".He emphasized the core position of undergraduate education in the cultivation of talents in colleges and universities.He put forward specific requirements for colleges and universities from four aspects:1.Return to common sense.2.Return to the basic.3.Return to the heart.4.Return to the dream.The meeting issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of High-level Undergraduate Education and Comprehensively Improving the Ability of Talent Cultivation (Draft for Comment)".It is called the New Age Higher Education 40.The General Assembly raised the main theme of talent cultivation and was a milestone in the development of higher education reform.

 

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the undergraduate education work conference of the national colleges in the new era and improve the quality of talent training for normal students in our school.The school of teacher education carefully organizes learning activities.We have organized all members and focus on the core problem.We also pay attention to research and fully implement the spirit of the conference.In July 2018, we held an enlarged meeting of the college center group to learn and understand the spirit of the undergraduate education thought work conference, and to study the requirements for deployment and implementation of the conference.

In order to implement four regressions,we must always insist on cultivating students' morality and carrying out the concept of educating people throughout the whole process of talent cultivation.In the training of normal students, the cultivation of teachers' morality is the core concept, and the morality of teachers is cultivated in all aspects.The college conducts in-depth discussions on the theme of reform and innovation of teacher education curriculum.They also explores issues under the new situation:1.How to create a teacher atmosphere.2.How to build a teacher education gold class.3.How to improve the professional skills of teachers and teachers.We want to work hard to promote the further reform of the undergraduate teacher training model in our university.During the semester, the whole school teachers conducted in-depth discussions about courses and teaching of education.The college advocates professor to enter the classroom of young teachers and guide them to carry out teaching.During the semester, Ye Zhong(dean of the school of education of Nanjing Normal University),together with college undergraduate teaching committee members went deep into the classroom to study.They also communicated with the teachers on the objectives of the course and teaching methods.

 

In November, the Department of Teacher Education Theory launched a dialogue between teachers and students.They explore the construction of teaching style and style of study in order to strengthen the awareness of classroom teaching quality.We standardize undergraduate teaching discipline and strictly manage the undergraduate teaching process.Improve the teaching level by integrating excellent teaching resources and enriching teaching forms.At the same time, the theory department carried out the "How to use mobile APP learning software to promote classroom teaching" salon activities.The majority of teachers have made more in-depth thinking about using modern technology to carry out classroom teaching and improve classroom teaching effects.In December, the Department of Teacher Education held a seminar on the theme of “Intellectual Education Research Situation Analysis”.The main goal of the seminar is to use the university's smart classroom as the main space for practical research.In order to enrich the connotation of traditional curriculum and teaching theory, change the concept of teacher education and the way students learn.We systematically explored the basic principles, conditions, models and effects of the hybrid teaching based on the intelligent classroom to carry out online personalized learning and offline collaborative research.It has proved the direction for "Internet and Teacher Education".It also provides excellent teachers for basic education and can carry out mixed teaching reforms.In order to face the information technology, teachers have formed a sense of actively responding to the challenges of smart education in the form of teaching teams and strive to develop mixed teaching exploration.

To further analyze the issue and form a consensus.The school of Education organized a seminar for teachers and students.The seminar was hosted by Liu Gengsheng(The secretary of school of teacher education).Zhang Jie(The secretary of school of teacher education)attend the meeting,too.They discussed the problems existing in undergraduate education and proposed development proposals.At the same time, the college emphasizes strict undergraduate teaching process management.We also revised the supplementary provisions of the undergraduate teaching work of the Teacher Education College and clarified the job responsibilities.Last but not least,we strictly enforced the provisions of rewards and punishments.

 

Through the above series of activities, our college has a deep understanding of the core position of undergraduate education work.We also reflected on the problems existing in the training of undergraduate teacher talents.On January 2, 2019, our hospital invited Bian Xia(Director of Academic Affairs)to come to our hospital for guidance.She interprets the subversive changes in undergraduate education from three aspects:1.The new situation of undergraduate education.2.The main task of undergraduate education.3.New initiatives in undergraduate education.The whole school teacher is encouraged to listen to the reserve.Under the impetus of the new situation,we gradually form the reform of the undergraduate teacher training model, the deepening of teacher education reform and the improvement of the quality of normal students.The professional certification that will be accepted is the most important thing at present.This is both a focus of the work of the whole college and a requirement for future work.This requires the teachers of the whole college to have a unified understanding and work together to move forward.

 

Through the meeting, we fully realize the essence of undergraduate education "based on basic" and "four regressions".At the same time, we have profoundly realized the importance of building a first-class undergraduate course.We must firmly establish the core position of undergraduate education.In the future actions, we will change the way of thinking.To improve the quality of undergraduate education,we must update our concepts and grasp the key points.This will train more and more good teachers for our basic education.
