The Sophomores Majored in Physics Education from the School of Teacher Education Successfully Held Their “Sharing Session of the Warm Winter Stories——Sweethearts of Our Physics Education Majors”
On the afternoon of March 7th, the sophomores majored in physics education from the School of Teacher Education successfully held their “Sharing Session of the Warm Winter Stories——Sweet Memories of Our Physics Education Majors” activity in classroom 311, Xueming building. The event was organized and host by their league branch secretary Qiu Haifeng and attended by all the students.
Fully-prepared, the activity began on time and proceeded orderly in the afternoon. First all of, Qiu Haifeng took this chance to make several important notices and then he announced the beginning of the session, inviting several selected students to share their stories on the stage. According to her experience of watching her sister play hoopla, Wu Yiye set up a simple Physics model and studied the moving situations of the flying bamboo circles and possible conditions they may have when running into objects. Based on her observation and thinking, she came up with several methods to increase the possibilities of getting prizes in the game.During the winter holiday, Hu Enhui visited the Memorial Hall of Li Shutong. She grasped this chance to have a deeper understanding of this great versatile scholar and also summarized his personalities and educational theories to the whole class. By visiting museums, searching materials online and interviewing jade craving craftsmen, Hua Qinyi understood the delicate Suzhou jade craving thoroughly and admired the spirit of workmanship reflected in those craftsmen sincerely. Fu Yu shared her experience of the school’s “trip to your alma mater” activity. She and the teammates in Shenyang shared out the work and cooperated with one another and successfully fulfilled the task. Finally, monitor Ma Yansong made a summary and shared his feelings in this event. All the students took a photo together, which was the first one of this term, and the activity ended successfully.
This activity, not only spread the traditional Chinese culture, but also reflected the close relationship between Physics and life and carried forward advanced education ideas. Through this activity, the students of Physics education get closer to each other and head forward together to the future of being an excellent Physics teacher.
