Digital Education Evaluation Research Center of Nanjing Normal University
Digital Education Evaluation Research Center of Nanjing Normal University was founded on March 1, 2016. It is a research institute of liberal arts approved by Nanjing Normal University and managed by the school Academy of Social Sciences, with the office set up in College of Teacher Education (Suiyuan campus) which is responsible for direct management.
The construction goal of the research center is to become the leading and professional digital education evaluation research institute nationwide which integrates “evaluation research, software development, data analysis, assessment services and specialized training". Research center is committed to creating the new era of "Internet + Education Evaluation", starting from research on digital education evaluation and development of application system to actively promote the reform experiments and academic exchange activities of education evaluation, making it intelligent, digital, standardized, diversified and interactive.
The team construction of the research center mainly relies on the expert team of College of Teacher Education, and hire domestic well-known expert on evaluation Dai Jiagan, some principals and special-class teachers of primary and secondary schools as part-time research members. There are currently 55 research members in all, 20 of which own senior professional title.
The construction thoughts of the research center seek path of integration of production, study and research, with emphasis on collaboration with Internet enterprises outside the school along with primary and secondary schools to strengthen achievement transformation of scientific research. Till the end of July in 2016, the research center has jointly developed a digital classroom observation platform and the school-based research evaluation platform with Shanghai Wen Zheng Education Technology Co., Ltd., and established 22 primary and secondary schools as base schools for practical application to guide schools to use digital evaluation platform to reform traditional evaluation paradigm.
